A self-calibrating electronic compass module is integrated into the mirror assembly, and the temperature module can display in either Farenheit or Celsius. Depending on where the sensor is located on the vehicle, it can display either outside or inside temperatures.

WEDGE MOUNT MIRRORS
Generally standard on vehicles manufactured in the United States, regardless of vehicle make. However, there can be exceptions. Wedge-style mirrors must be removed by loosening a small screw or clip, and pushing the mirror up towards the roof of the vehicle.
CAMLOCK MOUNT MIRRORS
Generally standard on vehicles manufactured outside of the United States, including some U.S. brands. Camlock-style mirrors must be removed by turning the mirror 90 degrees so that it is perpendicular to the dash, and pulling down on the mirror.
