SIX-WAY ADJUSTABLE POWER MIRRORS
|
PowerVision Six-Way Adjustable Power Mirrors extend and retract outward five full inches, providing outstanding rear visibility for long wheelbase trucks and SUV's. An ideal solution for towing boats or trailers, their revolutionary 6-way adjustment provides the best, most convenient towing mirror solution for virtually any late model truck.
PowerVision Mirrors work beautifully from inside your vehicle, with an electronic switch control assembly that provides full left and right extension plus tilt and swivel action! Their breakaway design (90 degreees rearward and 45 degrees forward) protects mirrors from accidental damage, and many models are now available in heated versions for continued frost-free rear views. They also plug directly into your stock mirror wiring, and can be installed by most do-it-yourselfers in just a couple of hours. If your truck doesn't have stock power mirrors, the mirror and tilt switch assembly combination provides all the wiring necessary. The glass is 10-1/2" wide, 6-1/2" tall and extends to 20" for wide, unobstructed views.

*NOTES FOR 2003 AND LATER CHEVY/GMC OWNERS:
For the 2003 - 2007 CLASSIC Model GM trucks WITH the stock power fold mirrors the install is a little different than our other models. This applies to models 6141 and 6141T. You simply take the stock mirrors off, put ours on in the same spot, and plug them in. Your GM dealer then needs to reflash your door module from a DL3 mirror code to a DPF (power extend/retract) mirror code. At that point, your truck's mirror programming is just like it would have been had it come from the factory with power extending mirrors. You do not need to install any wires or switches. The switch and wires that were doing the power fold will instead do the power extend/retract. For the 2003 - 2007 CLASSIC Model GM trucks trucks WITHOUT the stock power fold mirrors the door module will not support the DPF (power extend) code, so it will be necessary to install an extend/retract rocker switch as with all of our other models. This appllies to models 6140 and 6140T.
