KC HiLiTES HID Lights are available in KC's newly modified Daylighter 6" round housings, in either Black Powder Coated finish or gleaming Stainless Steel. Built on the same metal halide lighting concept used to illuminate nighttime sporting events, KC HID’s will literally turn night into day! They feature KC’s patented shock mount system for durability, and the electronic components (ballast and starter) are very sophisticated as they each perform many tasks to start and maintain the correct conditions for the units to operate at optimum light efficiency. Ballasts have been designed to run at voltages ranging from 9V to 18V. This means they can be used in all automotive as well as commercial, industrial and aviation applications where higher voltages are used. Pre-terminated wiring harness with weather proof plug connectors provide long service life and easy installation.
